As a counselor-in-training in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University, I provide a supportive, client-centered counseling environment for adults navigating stress, life transitions, and personal challenges. I have a particular interest in men’s issues, including personal and professional role transitions, work-related stress, marriage, fatherhood, and family life. My approach emphasizes identifying strengths, clarifying goals, and developing practical strategies that support steady forward progress.
While helping individuals manage difficult times and transitions, I utilize reframing and perspective-shifting techniques to help reduce emotional intensity, support emotional regulation, and encourage a more hopeful and balanced view of challenges. Drawing from my background in leadership, public service, and coaching, I work collaboratively with clients—under clinical supervision—to increase self-awareness, reduce self-imposed limitations, and move toward meaningful growth and balance.
Shane is seeing clients as a practicum student under the supervision of Randall Ford, LPC.
