Linda McDonough is in the internship stage of the full licensure process. Linda is seeing clients at a reduced rate, under the supervision of Dr. Carole Gilmore.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University. After graduation, she worked in the Special Education department of a public high school in Oklahoma for two years. She then moved to Texas, where she spent over ten years working in a corporate setting. Eleven years after completing her undergraduate program, she felt God calling her to begin a new career path. Linda is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Linda’s goal as a graduate student intern providing counseling services is to work with individuals to help them become the best version of themselves. She hopes to offer a safe space for each of her clients to feel seen and heard without judgment and that the counseling process will lead each client on the road to freedom. Linda is passionate about working with children and adolescents. During her journey to becoming a licensed professional counselor one day, she desires to be a stepping stone in the lives of young people so that one day they will become mentally and emotionally healthy adults.
